Forest types used in the Global Earth Observation (EO) dataset [17] and an independent estimate in Brazil—Sistema de Estimativas de Emissões e Remoções de Gases de Efeito Estufa (SEEG) have been aligned according to the IPCC LULUCF reporting categories and are compared to the Brazilian National Greenhouse Gas Inventory (NGHGI)
