  1. \(SW\)stem wood, \(RF\) fine roots, \(FL\) foliage, \(BR\) branches, \(DB\) dead branches, \(RC\) coarse roots, \(SU\) stump, and \(SB\) stem bark; the rates are expressed as an yearly proportion and are a result of estimated lifetime (e.g. lifetime of pine needles is approx. 3 years, thus the yearly turnover rate of 0.33). The values were compiled in Peltoniemi, Mäkipää [65] and de Wit, Palosuo [66]
