Each CSDS (“Farr”) installations consists of four plots: a control plot, a low-intensity thinned plot, a medium-intensity thinning plot, and a heavily-thinned plot. The Taylor installations consist of unthinned plots only and are generally in older stands. For a full description of the plots and thinning treatments see [19].
