We varied regeneration rates at one of five densities (1400, 1005, 670, 335, and 165 seedlings ha-1) in our sensitivity analysis. These rates were chosen to represent a realistic range of post-wildfire forest densities, consistent with re-constructions of pre-wildfire live tree densities at our study site (197 to 1754 trees ha^-1).
